DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in a golf cart tour of Gabis Arboretum? \nJoin us for a leisure drive through the Arboretum as the docent talks about the plants and animals that live at Gabis Arboretum. Up to eight golf cart seats available. The first eight to reserve the seats get them. Golf cart tours will take place every Wednesday between June and September. \nMeet at the Depot. \nView Tour Dates and Registration Links \n*Please note that you must register and pay $10 for the specific day you would like to attend.

SUMMARY:Tree Hike with Lenny Farlee
DESCRIPTION:Join Lenny Farlee on a summer tree identification hike! \nLenny has a master’s degree in forest management from Purdue University and is the extension forester for the Hardwood Tree Improvement and Regeneration Center at Purdue University. Lenny will point out key identifying features for a variety of tree species. \nWe will mostly be looking at the leaves\, fruit\, nuts\, flowers of these trees. Expect to leave with a better understanding of key identifying characteristics of native trees species. \nPlease dress for the weather and bring water and bug spray if needed. \nMeet in the first parking lot. \nRegister to Attend \nProgram participation is free but non-members are subject to the $10 per carload admission fee.
