Mock Rock is Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 6pm in Alumni Hall. Watch various students team, representing Recognized Student Organizations or Campus Departments, dance and compete in the 1st Annual lip-sync competition. Awards will be given to the overall winner, runner-up, and audience choice/crowd favorite.
Groups must submit an entry form through the official Registration Page. All groups who turn in a form will be submitted into a lottery. The first 12 teams drawn will compete in the show. An additional three (3) teams will be drawn as alternates to compete if the original teams drawn withdraw, forfeit, or fail to meet expectations.
Song choices will be given based on order of the group drawing 1st through 15th. You will be contacted by the Chairperson of the Mock Rock Committee, to let you know which of your song choices you will be permitted to use. Please have alternative choices. Acts must be 2:30-5:00 minutes long.
While PNW community enjoys teams that can dance and perform, Mock Rock is a Lip Sync competition and judges will be encouraged to look for this during the performance. Judges may penalize team points for inappropriate behaviors or moves. We are looking for team originality in each performance.
