Tornado Drill

March 22, 2023

Campus members, we will be conducting a Tornado Drill (move to a storm safe area) at both campuses on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. The below mentioned buildings will be the only buildings drilled. We will announce the start of the drill through our ENS (PA) system.

The start of the drill announcement is “This is a Tornado Drill, please move to a storm safe area”. We will also announce the “all clear, resume normal activity” end of the drill by ENS (PA). Being mindful of the interruption to instructional time, the entire drill from start to finish will be eight to ten minutes.

If you do not hear the “This is a tornado drill, please move to a storm safe area” announcement by ENS, do not move to a storm safe area. In addition, if you hear the starting drill announcement and do not hear “All Clear resume normal activity”, do not remain in the “storm safe place” for more than eight minutes. These drills offers faculty, staff and students the opportunity to plan and practice their response.
