It’s Time… Schedule Your Screening Mammogram
Mammogram screenings are an important, preventive screening and Purdue Northwest (PNW) wants to ensure its benefits-eligible employees have an opportunity to have these screenings done. PNW Human Resources in partnership with Franciscan Health is providing convenient access for employees to get their preventive (not diagnostic) mammogram screening in paid status with supervisor approval. Up to 90 minutes of paid time off will be allotted for travel and screening.
Registration is open from Tuesday, September 5 through Friday, September 15, 2017!

Guaranteed Army Reserve Forces Duty Scholarship Information Session
This informational session will be covering the GRFD Scholarship including the requirements and benefits of applying for this scholarship and great opportunity!
Below are some of the basic requirements for those interested in applying. This session will go into greater detail and allow a connection with SFC Andrew Zolman who is looking for applicants for this great opportunity. SFC Zolman will be speaking on the reserves and information regarding this scholarship.
- 2 and 3 Year Scholarship’s
- Must SMP (USAR)
- Reserve after commission
- Pays Full tuition and Fees
- Must sustain a 2.5 GPA
- Must be academically aligned
- Non Deployable under SMP
Self-defense Awareness Familiarization Exchange (S.A.F.E.) Training
Open to ALL women 13 years and older at PNW and in the community.
Westville - Free 2-Hour S.A.F.E. Program for Women
YOU are your best defense! The Purdue Northwest-Westville Campus Police Department offers a free, two-hour Self-defense Awareness and Familiarization Exchange (S.A.F.E.) presentation for women (age 13 and older) in the area. Class size is at least 6 and no more than 16. Register online at www.pnw.edu/police/safe, call 219.785.5220 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Five physical methods are introduced.
