Catalog Years Fall 2018 or later
Beginning in Fall 2018 Degree Maps for all undergraduate programs will be located in the Purdue Northwest Academic Catalog. To find the Degree Map for your major, visit the Programs of Study page of the Academic Catalog in the academic year you started at Purdue Northwest.
Which Degree Map should I use?
The catalog term in which you started/declared your major determines the requirements you must follow to earn your degree.
Why is Catalog Year important?
Program requirements, which are approved by the Faculty Senate, are based on catalog year and each year has an approved Degree Map.
How do I find my Catalog Year?
Find your catalog term in myPNW portal under your Academic Profile on the Academics tab. NOTE: Your catalog term falls within a catalog year which includes in this order a Fall, Spring, and Summer semester.
Examples: A student who began their program of study in Spring 2018 would follow the 2017/18 Degree Map.
A student who started at PNW in Fall 2015 as an Exploratory student and officially changed their major in Fall 2016 would follow the 2016/17 Degree Map for their declared major.
