Perhaps completing a task for a research project\, grading\, recording/creating course content\, reading? Would having some focused time to work on it help? \nIf so\, sign-up to participate in the Work Sprint! A Work Sprint provides a focused block of time and supportive environment for you to commit to and have some level of accountability for accomplishing a task-specific goal. \nLocation\nWork Sprints will be held via Zoom. SUMMARY:Proposals Due for Ball State Faculty Summit
DESCRIPTION:Ball State University is hosting the 2025 Provost Faculty Summit: Fostering Inclusive Excellence in an Evolving Educational Landscape taking place virtually February 6 and 7\, 2025. \nThe summit will showcase the meaningful and inclusive work of faculty\, staff\, and students across the Midwest region. We invite you to share your teaching practices\, especially as they relate to meaningful and inclusive learning experiences. \nLearn More and Submit a Proposal \nProposals due by December 15\, 2024 at 4pm CT \n  \nYou are invited to share your teaching practices\, especially as they relate to meaningful and inclusive learning experiences for learners. \nFollowing are some topics to consider as you put together your session proposal: \n\nAssessment Practices: Share assessment data\, strategies\, and/or tools that inform your practices in and out of the classroom space.\nInclusive Pedagogy Practices: Share strategies and examples of inclusive pedagogy in-action.\nInnovative Teaching Practices: Share innovative approaches to teaching and/or technology that engage learners in dynamic ways.\nTrends in Higher Education: Share strategies for addressing current and emerging influences in higher education.\n\nPresentations at the Provost Summit will occur in one of two formats: \nIndividual Paper Presentation: A single-presenter format. When submitting\, you have the option of selecting a 15-minute\, 30-minute\, or 45-minute time slot. \nFull Panel Presentation: A multiple-presenter format involving a session chair and up to three presenters. The session chair organizes the presenters and submits the complete proposal. Panel presentations are 45 minutes in length.
