Dr. Tyamo Okosun to Deliver Virtual Seminar on Blast Furnace Modeling at Carnegie Mellon

On October 30^th, CIVS Senior Research Engineer Tyamo Okosun will deliver a virtual presentation at the Carnegie Mellon University Fall 2020 Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering Graduate Seminar Series. His presentation will be entitled: “Multiphase Reacting Flow in the Blast Furnace,” and will focus on the current state of the art in high-fidelity CFD blast furnace modeling as well as a review of some of the most recent and engaging applications of CIVS’s blast furnace CFD models to design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
