It was a class in Linux system administration that helped me the most...I was assigned a real-world problem and I applied my education and experience to solve it.
All of the hands-on training I’m receiving at PNW is helping me narrow down exactly what I want to do once I graduate.
The classes are small, personal and hands-on, you’re able to build connections with your classmates and professors. If you have questions you can actually talk to the professors.

PNW hosts the 2025 Midwest Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition
Purdue University Northwest’s (PNW) College of Technology hosted the 2025 Midwest Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC), bringing together over 130 college student competitors from 10 colleges and universities for two days of cybersecurity contests.
Purdue University Northwest Graduates Encouraged to Commit to Themselves and Their Dreams
Purdue University Northwest celebrated summer and fall 2024 graduates during two ceremonies held Saturday, Dec. 14. A total of 650 candidates were recognized for not only their commitment to academic excellence, but also their grit exhibited through student leadership, community service and extracurricular involvement.
PNW’s College of Technology earned a 2024 Academia Circle of Excellence Award from the International Council of Electronic Commerce Consults. The recognition honors high-quality teaching that prepares students to enter the cybersecurity workforce.
