SUMMARY:Taking Control of My Diabetes - Healthy Boiler Program
DESCRIPTION:Do you have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes? Do you want to better understand type 2 diabetes and how it affects your body? \nThis 14-week program will explain what type 2 diabetes is and the role nutrition\, exercise\, sleep\, medication and stress management can have on your blood glucose levels. Participants in this program will be eligible to receive a free glucose meter and supplies.* \n*Individuals living with type 1 diabetes are able to meet monthly with a CHL health coach but are not required to participate in the eight-week “Taking Control of My Diabetes” program to take advantage of the test strips and blood sugar meter opportunity. \n2025 Session Dates and Times\n\nFebruary 5 to April 9\, 2025\n\nWednesdays\, 11 to Noon CT\n\n\nMay 1 to July 3\, 2025\n\nThursdays\, 11 a.m. to Noon CT\n\n\nSeptember 3 to November 5\, 2025\n\nWednesdays\, 11 to Noon CT\n\n\n\nFor More Information\nContact the CHL for more information at (765) 494-0111. \n\nHealthy Boiler programs are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan.
