DESCRIPTION:The Center for Healthy Living (CHL) at PNW will be offering flu shots via drive-thru events! \n\nWednesday\, October 15\, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. CT via drive-thru only in front of the Center for Healthy Living located in Riley Center Bldg at the Hammond campus  – located directly across from the Fitness & Recreation Center (Center for Healthy Living – 2250 173rd Street\, Hammond\, IN).\nThursday\, October 16\, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. CT via drive-thru only in the Circle Drive in front of Schwarz Hall at the Westville campus (1401 S. U.S. Hwy. 421\, Westville\, IN).\n\nThose who cannot make the drive-through event can call the CHL to schedule an appointment for their flu shot at the Hammond CHL location. \nWestville Campus Map \nEligibility \n\nAll benefits-eligible employees and dependents covered on a Purdue health plan are eligible to receive the free flu vaccine. Regardless of location\, individuals coming for a flu shot should bring their Purdue University ID (PUID) card or their government ID or insurance card.\n\nVaccine Types \n The CHL at PNW will be administering the following vaccines at both Hammond and Westville: \n\nFluzone quadrivalent vaccine\, which is designed to protect against four different flu viruses; two influenza A viruses and two influenza B viruses. It is approved for anyone ages 6 months and older.\nFlublok quadrivalent vaccine\, which is designed to protect against four different flu viruses; two influenza A viruses and two influenza B viruses. It is approved for use in ages 18 years and older. It is preservative and egg-free.\n\nSee More About Flu Shots

DESCRIPTION:Ready to open the conversation on women’s health? \n“THE (M) FACTOR – Shredding the Silence on Menopause” is the first documentary to bring menopause into the spotlight\, sparking an important conversation for women. It brings attention to the often overlooked health challenges that women face leading up to and during menopause. DESCRIPTION:The benefit open enrollment period for 2026 will begin October 28 and continue through 5 p.m. CT November 11\, 2025. \nWhat to Expect for 2026\n\nSlight increase to premiums – between $0.12 and $8.35 per month\, depending on medical salary tier\, plan election and coverage level.\nNew medical plan administrator – Ameriben will manage claims and member support. You will have the same medical plan options and the Anthem/HealthSync network.\nNew provider for voluntary benefits – Securian will administer accident\, critical illness and hospital indemnity insurance.\nNew commuter benefit via HSA Bank – set aside tax-free dollars up to $325 per month – for travel costs to and from work.\nIncrease in allowable amount for Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account – set aside up to $7\,500 in 2026.\nLegal plan enhancement – discounted TurboTax access and unlimited expert support during tax season.\nIncrease to working spouse and tobacco surcharges:\n\nThe surcharge for tobacco users enrolled in medical plans will increase by $250.\nTo maintain eligibility for working spouses to access the Purdue medical plans\, the surcharge for enrolled spouses who do not enroll in their employer’s health plan will increase by $125 (lower medical tier) and $250 (higher medical tier).
