The Office of Student Life focuses on developing extra-curricular experiences on campus via student event programming and community engagement opportunities.
Variety of Programming
We engage students through a variety of programming such as our Alternative Spring Break, Annual Art Exhibition, Homecoming, Tunes @ Noon, PNW’s Got Talent and more.
Our office is focused on connecting students to the University and the surrounding community. Students who participate in events and community engagement programming become ignited with a passion to help others, a commitment to the University, and PRIDE for what they have accomplished through their extra-curricular involvement.
We are helping to develop students who are engaged in their community and can contribute to Northwest Indiana and beyond once they have completed their degree.
Student Event Programming Board
Students who are interested in planning events are encouraged to join the Student Event Programming Board. The Student Event Programming Board assists the Office of Student Life in planning Purdue Northwest student events. Students will gain experience in marketing, event planning, communications, and budget management.
