Title IX is a federal law under the Education Amendments of 1972 that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities operated by recipients of federal financial assistance.
The goal of this training is to increase participants understanding of Title IX and their role and responsibilities in reporting alleged violations. After completing this training, participants will be able to carry out their responsibilities to report alleged Title IX violations, more specifically sexual violence and child sexual violence abuse, in order to foster a safe and respectful university environment.
