The English Language Program (ELP) is a CEA-accredited intensive English program that aims primarily at assisting international students in developing their academic English language proficiency to the level needed to pursue their education at Purdue University Northwest. The program includes 15-week semesters (fall/spring), as well as 4- and 8-week summer sessions. Levels Offered include:
- Level 1 – Foundations
- Level 2 – Low-Intermediate
- Level 3 – High Intermediate
- Level 4 – Advanced
LCP is designed for visiting participants who wish to improve their English language skills through a combination of classroom instruction and organized excursions and cultural activities in Northwest Indiana and the Chicago-land area. The program offers three 4-week sessions for both low-intermediate learners and high-intermediate/advanced learners.
The Pathway Program is a one-semester program designed for undergraduate and graduate students with advanced English proficiency who would like to take ELP classes in combination with credit-bearing university classes. Students may choose fall or spring enrollment.
