Emergency Preparedness Communication Tests

The Fall 2020 tests of the emergency communication channels will be conducted the week of October 26. These communication channels are the means used by the Crisis Communication Team to provide information to the campus community in the event of an emergency.
The channels tested this week include fire alarms, public address system, posted signage, Purdue University Northwest’s homepage, email and Alert Me text messaging. The purpose of these tests are to ensure you understand and are aware of the communication channels and you comprehend what each channel’s message communicates. The schedule of the communication channel tests is listed below.
