Advantages of Synergistic Collaboration between Student Research and Local Industry with Live Drone Demonstration

This presentation focuses on how student research collaboration with local industry bridges the gap between academia and real-world applications. There will be a demonstration by a local industry partner through a drone project with a Construction Engineering and Management Technology student.

This discussion is for faculty and undergraduate students interested in learning how connecting with local industry enhances their research.

Light refreshments will be served.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to network with our speakers, colleagues, and PNW Research Board members.

Joe Grelewicz, Senior Asset Integrity Manager, Middough, Inc.

Mr. Grelewicz is a discipline manager for drone and traditional services and inspections, including laser scanning involved in structural inspections, at Middough, Inc., Portage, IN. Middough, Inc. is a multi-discipline engineering company based in Cleveland, OH.
