This professional development workshop will cover commonly used approaches and models to clinical supervision, the importance of effective clinical supervision as part of client care and review ethical considerations when working with counseling student interns and other professionals.
Participants will earn two (2) hours of NBCC approved Continuing Education for participating in this workshop.
Registration Fee
$80 for individual participants.

Learning Objectives
As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify models of supervision
- Engage in critical dialogue on the topic of clinical supervision
- Apply ethical standards to clinical practice in a supervisory role
Program Leader
Vincent Marasco, Ph.D., teaches in the Clinical Mental Health specialty track in the Counseling program with an emphasis on sexual health and wellness, professional identity development, and clinical supervision.
His research interests and agenda include development of sexuality-based competencies in Professional Counseling, advocacy evaluation, LGBTQGEIAP+ health and wellness, counselor education, and supervision pedagogy.
