|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 12:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until November 3, 2022

Free

Interested in learning how to program in Python? Join IEEE’s free Python Learning course!

Students will be able to get together with IEEE students and learn how to program in Python in this FREE course. Registration is open until August 27 and requires you to use .purdue.edu instead of .pnw.edu. The course will also appear in Brightspace soon after registering. Refer to Dr. Cole’s instructions for accessing the course.

This class will not have an impact on your grades or GPA, however, if you do pass, you will receive an official certification for Python Programming Fall 2022. The course is REMOTE, and we will work together in POTT 204!

If you did not register, that is okay, we will be working remotely, you will just not have access to the course materials or the opportunity to have an official certificate in Python for your resume.

We will also be practicing for the IEEEXtreme as much as time allows for students.
