Teaching Online in Brightspace Workshop 1: Getting Started Designing and Building your Course

Faculty who are teaching this summer are invited to attend this workshop to learn more about how to structure an online course and build it in Brightspace. The workshop will be followed by a one-hour optional work session with assistance available.
This workshop is part of a three-workshop series being offered by the Center for Faculty Excellence and the Office of Instructional Technology to support faculty developing and teaching online summer courses in Brightspace. You are encouraged to attend all three workshops:
- Workshop 1 – Getting Started Designing and Building your Course
Wednesday, April 29, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; optional work session 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. - Workshop 2 – Grading and Giving Feedback
Friday, May 1, 9 to 10 a.m.; optional work session 10 to 11 a.m. - Workshop 3 – Communication and Engagement
Tuesday, May 5, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; optional work session 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
