DESCRIPTION:Financial aid professionals will be on-site at Purdue University Northwest’s Hammond and Westville campuses during the statewide College Goal Sunday programs on Feb. 22. This free event helps college-bound students and their families apply for financial aid. \nCollege Goal Sunday programs provide assistance to students in filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA form is required for students to be considered for federal and state grants\, scholarships and federal loans at most colleges\, universities and vocational/technical schools nationwide. \nFinancial aid professionals and Spanish interpreters will be available at both locations to answer questions and help students complete and file their forms. \nHow to Make the Most of College Goal Sunday\n\nStudents age 23 and under should invite a parent or guardian to attend with you.\nBring your/your family’s 2024 tax return or W-2 form(s).\nCreate your FAFSA ID before you arrive.\n\n\nEnter a Scholarship Drawing!\nStudents who attend College Goal Sunday and submit a completed evaluation form will automatically be entered into a drawing to win one of five $1\,000 scholarships.
