Center for Innovation and Design in Engineering Technology
This technology-driven facility will let students focus on synergistic project-based designs with industry-standard software, high-performance computing hardware and interactive multimedia equipment.
Located on Indianapolis Blvd. and 171st Street, the 4,474 square-foot center will feature programs optimizing a 3M principle: Mobile, Modular, Maintainable. Its mission: to foster and facilitate design and applied-research projects by students in partnership with industry partners in manufacturing/engineering technology fields.
The Center for Innovation and Design in Engineering Technology building will allow project activities to not be influenced by laboratory schedules of traditional instructional laboratories.
