You’ll use your PNW username and password to access a range of digital services! Learn more about creating and changing your accounts.

Change Your Password

Password Reset

If you are unable to reset your password on your own using the link above, you may need assistance from the PNW Customer Service Center (CSC). The following information will need to be provided to the CSC if you need password reset assistance.  (This information must match what the university has on file.  For example, if your address has changed, you may need to notify the Registrar of this change.)

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Purdue ID Number (PUID)
  • Address
  • A successful DUO push to your device, or
  • Showing your government-issued photo ID in-person to our helpdesk staff or in a Zoom video meeting

Account Expiration

  • Faculty and staff accounts will expire immediately upon separation from the university.  (Exceptions to this may include retirees and faculty with emeritus status.)
  • Students who are not enrolled in a PNW course for 365 days (including graduates) will lose access to their PNW accounts, including email.  Exceptions cannot be made to this policy.

Note: PNW passwords must be reset every 180 days.  Users will receive emails reminding them 14, 7, 3, and 1 day prior to expiration.

Your username and 10-digit PUID number are assigned to you as soon as you are admitted to the university and can be found on your letter of admission.

Activate Your Account

Choose the “Account Activation (New Students Only)” option. You will need your 10-digit PUID and username, found on your letter of admission.

Note: This tool can only be used once.  Once your account has been activated, it cannot be activated again.  If you have taken PNW courses as a high school student, and used your PNW account to access that information, your account is already activated.  Please call 219-989-2888 or email CSC@PNW.EDU for assistance if you have forgotten your sign-in information or use the BoilerBot tool.
