Step 1: Download Your Gradebook
In your Full Grade Center, you can download a copy of your gradebook to save for future reference or to archive in your records. In your Full Grade Center, choose Work Offline then Download in the upper right corner. You can then choose to download the full grade center and choose where to save the file.
Step 2: Create a Grading Schema
It is important to make sure your grading scale in your syllabus matches the grading schema in Blackboard. In order to do this, under Manage choose Grading Schemas in the Full Grade Center. Choose Edit in the Options Menu and ensure that your grading scale matches what is set in Blackboard.
Step 3: Label Final Grade Column
In order to use the Grade Submit Tool to transfer your grades from Blackboard into Banner, you must change the title of the Total column to Final Grade. Select Edit Column Information and change the title to Final Grade.
Step 4: Grade Submit Tool
Blackboard allows you to submit final grades to Banner using the Grade Submit Tool. Under Course Tools, select Grade Submit Tool. Ensure that Final Grade is selected. Check your grades for failing marks; failing grades need a last attended date. Choose Process.
Step 5: Check Banner
Ensure your grades were properly processed by logging into Banner to check final grades. You can change individual grades by choosing Process in Blackboard again or by manually changing the grade in Banner.
