PNW English Honor Society member, faculty sponsor participate in international convention
Purdue University Northwest spring graduate Jessica Streeter of Chesterton recently presented her critical essay, “Cosey and Cosby: Love and Patriarchy,” at the Sigma Tau Delta International Convention in Louisville, Ky.
Streeter, a member of the Alpha Mu Pi Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society at the PNW Westville Campus, wrote her paper for a course about author Toni Morrison taught by Jane Rose, professor of English and faculty sponsor of the Alpha Mu Pi Chapter.
Streeter presented her essay during the panel, “Problems of God and Women in Toni Morrison.” Rose moderated the panel discussion.
The Sigma Tau Delta Convention attracted more than 1,000 international participants.
