HAMMOND & WESTVILLE, Ind. -- PNW Athletics is proud to recognize the ongoing dedication to academics shown by its student-athletes, averaging a department GPA of 3.29 in the 2019 Fall Semester. This also marks the first time all 13 NCAA Varsity programs achieved team GPAs above 3.0.

"I am so proud of the amazing academic achievements of the PNW Pride student-athletes," said Director of Athletics Rick Costello. "The Pride are students first and athletes second.  I congratulate our students on their commitment to academic excellence. It is wonderful to see them reaching new heights every semester."

The Pride had 162 student-athletes achieve a GPA higher than 3.0, 25 of which had a perfect 4.0 for the semester. The Women's Golf and Baseball teams both claimed new team records with 3.6 and 3.34, respectively.
