Prospective students, parents invited to visit Hammond (3/11) and Westville (3/25) campuses
Purdue University Northwest is hosting open houses at its Hammond and Westville campuses this month for prospective students of all ages who want to learn more about attending PNW.
The Hammond Campus open house is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 11, beginning at the Fitness & Recreation Center, 2300 173rd Street.
The Westville Campus open house is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 25, beginning at the James B Dworkin Student Services & Activities Complex.
“Our open houses are ideal opportunities for high school students, college transfers and their families to explore Purdue Northwest; our people, programs and facilities,” PNW Executive Director of Admissions Jeff Lochowicz said. “I look forward to introducing students and families to the countless opportunities available at both Purdue Northwest campuses.”
Open house activities
Attendees of either open house will have an opportunity to interact with faculty, administrators, students and alumni, as well as learn more about Purdue Northwest undergraduate and graduate degree programs, campus life and residential housing options, scholarships and financial aid, the Honors College, freshman and transfer student admission requirements, student success support programs, athletics, military personnel/veterans services and dual credit/concurrent enrollment opportunities. Campus tours also will be provided.
Prospective attendees are encouraged to register in advance to attend either open house.
Purdue University Northwest
Purdue University Northwest (PNW), a comprehensive regional university within the Purdue University system, has two Northwest Indiana campuses in Hammond and Westville. The university was formed by the unification in 2016 of the former Purdue University Calumet and Purdue University North Central. With more than 15,000 students enrolled last fall and nearly 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, Purdue Northwest is Indiana’s fifth largest public university.
