On billboards, road pieces, view books and more, PNW is inviting students to
“Explore Your Roar!”
Purdue Northwest is marketing to the generation of students who are doers and problem-solvers. We are asking these students from all over the country to “Explore Your Roar” through a new marketing campaign that has drawn quite a bit of attention.
Here are a few ways PNW is making an impression:
- At the recent fall Open Houses hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the total number of guests visiting each campus more than doubled. The Westville campus had an additional 155 guests and the Hammond campus added 350 on top of the previous year totals. This was a great opportunity for our faculty and staff to meet and greet potential students and their families.
- In the Chicagoland area, our PNW commercial has made 1,325,249 impressions on adults 18 or older. This video is one of the steps the university is taking toward approaching Illinois students to consider applying to PNW.
- The website has been updated to encourage students to “Explore Your Roar.” This site has been helpfully walking students and their family members through the enrollment process. In keeping with the theme, this website content coordinates with the new suite of marketing materials arriving in our prospective students’ homes. Take a look at pnw.edu/roar.
- Across northwest Indiana, billboards are emphasizing our students’ skills of problem-solving and taking on the challenges of the world. Near the Hammond Campus, a sign shows Leo inviting people to exit the highway and “Explore your roar.”
