Director of Student Success and Urban Engagement
What’s your educational or professional background?
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Purdue University Northwest.
What are your professional interests?
My passion revolves around helping students reach their epitome of success. I love advocating for students on campus as they encounter transformational experiences during their college journey.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I’m an avid line dancer and teach line dancing classes! I can also do the Tamia – Can’t Get Enough line dance step by step!
What do you love about PNW?
THE PEOPLE! From my time as a student to returning in a staff role, it has always been the people.
PNW provides such a welcoming atmosphere when you step foot on campus. The small campus environment allows students to find community and develop close relationships with faculty & staff where you’re known on a first-name basis rather than just a number.
I still have great relationships with PNW officials, as they have helped me tremendously in my academic, personal, and professional journey.
Here to help with:
- Providing resources and support services to enhance the academic success and overall well-being of students
- Building relationships between PNW and surrounding communities
- Fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for African American students
