Why I became a nurse: My major was undecided for awhile in college. My academic advisor told me one day it was "time to pick something." I learned nursing didn't require a foreign language class, which my 19-year old self was apparently avoiding like the plague, believing it would be "too hard." So I picked nursing. Oh, the irony!
