DESCRIPTION:Spring 2025 Commencement ceremonies will be held outdoors at the Hammond campus on Saturday\, May 9\, 2026. \n \nSevere Weather\nIn the event of severe weather\, the ceremony may be delayed and held later on Saturday\, May 9\, if conditions permit. If the weather prevents the ceremony from taking place on Saturday\, the severe-weather date is Sunday\, May 10. \nStudents completing their graduation requirements in Fall 2025\, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 are eligible to participate. DESCRIPTION:The PNW 2026 Spring Career Expo is a career fair for students and alumni of Purdue University Northwest that are seeking full time employment and internships across all industries and academic majors. \nRegister to Attend on Handshake \nItems to note about this event: \n\nLocation: Hammond Campus\, Fitness and Recreation Center gymnasium\nPlan accordingly to dress appropriately to meet with employers\, first impressions count! This event is business casual attire preferred\, which means no jeans\, sweatpants\, shorts\, t-shirts\, sneakers\, ball camps and otherwise revealing attire. Clean and neat looking apparel is recommended.\nResearch the employers that are listed before coming to this event. Employers expect you to sell yourself to them\, not the other way around\, so take some time and plan who you want to talk to and what you want to say. Practice your introduction.\nUtilize the Online Career Center in Brightspace to prepare and bring multiple copies of your resume to distribute to the employers that interest you the most and maybe a few more you meet that day.\n\nRemember to ask for business cards and follow through with a polite “thank you” email. \nYou are the PRIDE of PNW\, so please be on your best behavior.
