NSF Dear Colleague Letter: Collaborative Funding Opportunities in the Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental, and Transport Systems (CBET) The Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental, and Transport Systems (CBET) will consider proposals for collaborative funding with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), the Water Environment & Reuse Foundation (WE&RF) [formerly the Water Environment Research Foundation], and/or the Water Research Foundation (WRF). Each collaborating organization has outlined its particular science and engineering interests, which are summarized at the link above.
NEH National Digital Newspaper Program NEH is soliciting proposals from institutions to participate in the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP). NDNP is creating a national digital resource of historically significant newspapers published between 1836 and 1922, from all the states and U.S. territories. This searchable database will be permanently maintained at the Library of Congress and will be freely accessible via the Internet. Projects are typically based on statewide collaborations between major repositories of microfilm of historic newspapers and institutions with the technical capacity to launch long-term digitization efforts. Deadline: January 12
If interested in submitting a proposal to an opportunity identified as a Limited Submission Proposal please contact Kristin Sarver immediately.
Pre-proposals and rankings to the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships (EVPRP) should be e-mailed to Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships. Purdue’s open limited submission competitions, limited submission policy, and templates for pre-proposals may be found at Limited Submissions. For any case in which the number of pre-proposals received is no more than the number of proposals allowed by the sponsor, the EVPRP will notify the PI(s) that an internal competition will be unnecessary.
