Run for Student Government Next Year!

Good afternoon PNW Pride!

Student Government Association wants you!

We are looking for candidates to serve in the 2024-2025 school year.

Student Government is a great way to get involved, grow your network, hone your leadership skills, and more! Members of SGA are the voice of the student body and are able to make lasting impacts at Purdue University Northwest.

This PAID opportunity will allow students to stretch their leadership role, network with senior leadership, create impactful change at the university and more! SGA President’s and Vice Presidents meet with the Chancellor, attend Faculty Senate, sit on various committees (like the Chancellor’s search committee) and more! Senators meet with their deans and students from their colleges, attend student organization meetings, help connect students to resources and more. Both opportunities are excellent for students that are looking for more involvement or step up their resume. Each position requires 10 – 20 hours of commitment per month.

To submit their name for the ballot, interested students will need to complete the SGA Elections Application, attached here or on myPNW Life, get 25 student signatures, and submit their application online or to stugov@pnw.edu by Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 11:59 p.m.
