Update on Sinai Forum

July 30, 2020

The Sinai Forum at Purdue Northwest brings community together to be inspired and engaged and to discuss the most important issues of the day.

We often hear from our subscribers and students that their favorite parts of the forum programs are the energy created by the events, the opportunity to meet world leaders, artists, authors, and public figures close up and personally, and the thoughtful and sometimes spirited discussions held after the programs conclude.

I write today to share an update on our planning for alternate programming, since we will not be meeting in person this fall. The ever-changing circumstances of COVID-19 and the uncertainty it has generated present unique challenges.

Although we do not know all of the details just yet, here is a sneak peek at our current planning:

  • We hope to bring you a 2020/2021 season consisting of two virtual programs in fall 2020 and five live programs in fall 2021.
  • Thanks to our sponsors, virtual programs would be presented free-of-charge to subscribers, students, community, and friends everywhere. Watch your email for more information!
  • Tickets for the 2021 live season will likely go on sale in June 2021.

We are most grateful to all the sponsors, organizations and individuals who have made it possible through their generous support to bring great programs to you in these difficult times. Please visit our sponsor page to learn more about our sponsors.

If you would like to join us in making the Sinai Forum stronger than ever, you can donate here.

Stay tuned for announcements about our future programming.

I promise it will be worth the wait!

Most Sincerely,

Leslie Plesac
