Hannah Evatt

Hello! My name is Hannah Evatt and I am an SI leader for MA 154, aka trigonometry. I am a senior double majoring in Hospitality Management and Math for secondary education. I have always wanted to be a teacher so after culinary school I decided to come to PNW to get my degree in Hospitality which ended as me also getting a degree in education! I live in Wrigleyville in Chicago so I really enjoy walking around the city and seeing new places and ordering takeout from new restaurants! I also have 2 cats who enjoy going on walks outside also. Fall is my favorite season, so I am very prepared for boots, sweaters, and apple cider! I am also an avid book reader, mainly creepy, scary, thrilling, or plot twist books and I am always looking for new suggestions! I was very excited when I was asked to be an SI Leader since I am an education major. SI is great for students who may know the material and understand it, but do not do well on tests or quizzes because it teaches great study habits and also gets students more interested in the topics at hand. The students will be able to work together to solve problems, debate, or even answer other student’s questions. My sessions are held on Mondays from 12:30 to 1:30 and on Tuesdays from 2:30 to 3:30. Hope to see you there!
