Hello, my name is Marisa Gorski and I am a third year student here at Purdue University Northwest. I am a double major of behavioral sciences and history. I have lived in multiple states in the United States and have had the opportunity to meet and experience all kinds of people and cultures.
I enjoy learning about new things, drawing, reading, watching a good movie or TV show and spending time with my family and friends. This spring, I am the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader for SOC 382: Introduction to Statistics in Sociology. SI is valuable, for SOC 382 and any class, because it allows students to better understand or gain a different perspective on a subject with someone who has been in their shoes by having already taken the course. This semester, my SI sessions are being held over Zoom. I hope everyone has a safe semester and that I get to meet many of you during my sessions.
