From Extreme Abs to R.I.P.P.E.D, explore a variety of ways to stay fit with fitness classes at PNW on the Hammond Campus!
Pricing For Sessions
- Students, PNW Employees, Spouses and FC Members – $10
- Non FC Members – $20
* Limited class sizes available. Registration required. All in person classes will be conducted in the gymnasium and socially distanced. Payment accepted in the Fitness Center – only cash or check accepted.
Extreme Abs and Core – Hammond Campus
Weekly on Saturday mornings from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.
A 60-minute, high-energy, hard driving, fast-pace class designed for avid exercisers and fitness enthusiasts. Multiple sets of different exercises with minimal rest between sets is the class format. Not a class for beginners.

R.I.P.P.E.D.
Weekly on Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the PNW Fitness Center
A total body workout that puts the FUN in FUNctional athletic based training. The formulaic combination of resistance, interval, power, plyometrics, endurance and diet requires the body to respond to the constantly changing format within the session. Participants of all levels burn, build and bulletproof their bodies with smiles and determination.

Advanced Abs and Core
Weekly on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4 – 4:45 p.m. in the PNW Fitness Center
The class will consist of the seven most challenging upper body core exercises with an ab exercise sandwiched between core movements. Exercises in the class will include: Navy Seal pushups, push up and double side planks, oblique twists with a push up, alternating side planks with a push up, plank up-downs with a push up and Navy Seal count down pushups. Expect to crank out 400 pushups by the end of class! NOT a class for beginners, no equipment needed, comfortable clothes, shoes recommended.

SilverSneakers Classic (Free Class)
Weekly on Monday mornings from 10 – 10:45 a.m.
The class will consist of a warm up, preliminary stretching exercises, balance, stability and coordination drills and several body weight exercises you can do for strengthening and toning your muscles. All exercises will be performed either from the standing position or a sitting in a chair. No additional equipment is required. No whining or complaining allowed!
Beginning Abs and Core
Weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:15 – 12:45 p.m.
A 30-minute bodyweight abs and core class designed to provide you with a solid base routine for abdominal and core strength while performing a variety of exercises without the use of equipment. Comfortable clothes and shoes recommended.
