The Office of the Dean of Students is excited to announce our Safe Zone Summer! The Safe Zone program is open to all members of the PNW campus community. By offering training and resources in topics such as pronoun and name importance, the difference between attraction and expression, and how to take ally from a noun to a verb, Safe Zone aims to create a visible network of support for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies and a more inclusive and welcoming campus community overall.
Here are the upcoming dates and locations for the Safe Zone Training this Safe Zone Summer:
- June 1, 10 a.m. to noon (Hammond, NILS 206)
- June 9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Virtual)
- June 14, noon to 2 p.m. (Westville, LSF 018)
- June 28, 9 to 11 a.m. (Hammond, SUL 321)
- July 17, noon to 2 p.m. (Virtual)
- August 9, 10 a.m. to noon (Westville, LSF)
- August 17, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. (Hammond, Potter 119)
