Brother 2 Brother

Student African American Brother, also know as SAAB, is an organization that was established by Tyrone Bledsoe on October 17, 1990 on the campus of Georgia Southwest State University. The organization was established initially to address the academic and social challenges specific to African American and Latino male students.

However, SAAB provides a diverse and culturally sensitive environment for all ethnic groups minorities through the options of calling the chapter Brother To Brother. This allows a more diverse group to get the SAAB experience. In short, Brother to Brother is open to anyone.

Our chapter been here since 2014 and we were classified as an official organization in 2015. Our mission is to help students strive for academic excellence while simultaneously having a personal growth. Through learning, advocacy, mentoring and action we will remove the educational barrier to ensure that more African American, Latino, people of color graduate from college. By doing this we are saving lives and salvaging dreams. We are Brother to Brother of Purdue Northwest!

Saving Lives…Salvaging Dreams!
