Actively Moving Forward (A.M.F.)

Research shows that about one in three college students experience the death of a family member or close friend who died within the last 12 months. It is likely that this statistic remains true for all young adults, ages 18-25, as a whole.

Actively Moving Forward is a national network created in response to the needs of grieving young adults. AMF campus Chapters connect grieving college students so they can help support one another and empower the campus community to take action through a variety of service events. AMF chapters are intended to replace other grief support offerings on campus, but we strive to work closely with these campus resources, refer students reciprocally, and promote them with the student voice.
