Recognizing your service to country and the unique challenges that you may face as a result, PNW offers veterans and service members the opportunity to register for courses at the earliest possible date. Veterans and service members are eligible to register, along with graduating seniors, at the opening of registration.
The Bursar’s Office automatically puts a fee deferment in place for registered students certified as eligible for GI Bill educational benefits. This allows for additional time for these educational benefits to be applied to tuition and fees without worry of having class registration canceled if the GI Bill has not yet paid to a student’s tuition and fee statement prior to the start of the academic semester.
Veterans and active service members are encouraged to get involved in clubs, organizations and activities specifically geared towards Veterans and to raise awareness of their contributions on campus. For example, PNW has active clubs for Veterans on both campuses, hosts an annual Veterans Day event and plans additional activities of interest to Veterans on campus and within the surrounding community.
