- Apply for admission to Purdue University Northwest
- Apply for GI Bill Paper applications are available through your school’s Veteran Certifying Official.
- Applicants will receive a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from VA. Provide a copy of the COE to the school’s Veteran Certifying Official
- Provide the Veteran Certifying Official with a copy of your DD 214. Request your Military Service Records here.
- National Guard/Reserve or Active Duty should notify the Battalion Education Officer of the intention of attending school.
- Complete and file your FAFSA application with Financial Aid before April 15th
- After you receive your PNW acceptance letter:
- Make an appointment with your academic advisor as soon as possible
- National Guard/Reserve or Active Duty service members provide the Battalion Education Officer a copy of your letter of acceptance.
- To initiate and maintain your VA educational benefits, you must submit:
- Advisor Approval Form (Request from your advisor)
- Veterans Certification Request (Complete online) – You are encouraged to contact your Veteran Certifying Official for further questions or paper forms.
