Undergraduate Hospitality and Tourism Management Programs
In the hospitality and tourism management degree program, you’ll be provided with a solid business foundation alongside an in-depth study of different sectors of the industry.
Being able to get myself out there, I was able to meet some amazing people and that gave me the confidence to move forward and be successful in the future.
My favorite part was the lab classes because of the challenges they provide. You come in, format a menu and an entire schedule for the day, put everything together, serve your guests and then you still have to clean up – you’re doing everything in one day.
I really liked the curriculum because it touched on a bit of everything – accounting, sales, marketing, human resources and food labs. I also like the small classes, you get to know everyone.
The program gave me versatility and knowledge on different areas in the industry... I’ve had some pretty cool classes in the HTM program.
My eventual career goal is to manage a high-end restaurant. PNW classes simulate what I would need to do in the real world, preparing me better for the future.
