The Purdue University Northwest Department of Athletics announced its student-athletes produced a cumulative team GPA of 3.19 in Spring 2023.

The Pride continue to excel in the classroom as the department has produced 15 straight semesters with at least a 3.0 GPA, and the Pride have also maintained an 97-percent retention rate.

"The Pride of PNW are exceptional students and have once again achieved academic excellence," Rick Costello, PNW Director of Athletics said. "I am so very proud of the Pride's accomplishments in the classroom!  I extend my deep appreciation to the faculty and academic services staff for their time, support and commitment to providing an amazing education at Purdue University Northwest."

Women's Golf took top honors with a 3.58 team GPA while Women's Soccer finished with a 3.55 team GPA. The top five teams included Softball (3.42), Men's Soccer (3.39), and Women's Basketball (3.37).

"I'm extremely proud of our student-athletes and ability to put together another fantastic semester academically," said Natalie Jarrett, Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services. "We are proud of their efforts as they continue to represent Purdue Northwest on and off the field."

Also in the spring 2023 semester, 30 student-athletes earned a 4.0 GPA and 120 student-athletes earned a 3.5 or higher GPA.
