Spring Ephemeral Hike
April 18, 2026 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Are you ready to look at the spring ephemeral plants?
Ephemeral means lasting for a very short time, usually in reference to beauty. Ephemeral in this context is used to describe the short period of time in which woodland spring wildflowers bloom.
Come join the naturalist and identify all the spring wildflowers we can find. We will be looking for trillium, bloodroot, twin leaf, false rue anemone, wild ginger and many others.
Meet at the First Parking Lot.
Limited to 15 participants.
Program participation is free. Arboretum admission fees apply for non-members.
