Native Legume Growing Workshop

This workshop will cover one of the most important families of plants- the Fabaceae or Legume family. Legumes play a special role in nature because they have a symbiotic relationship with bacteria that fix atmospheric nitrogen. The arboretum’s Naturalist will teach participants how to best grown legumes from seed. Biodegradable pots, soil, and seeds will be provided along with tips on how to improve germination and grow healthy plants.

Workshop is limited to 10 participants

Workshop Fee: $5
