Volunteer Gardening Day

An event every week that begins at 8:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until November 1, 2022
The Gabis Arboretum is excited to invite the community to volunteer with us! If you enjoy being outside, working in the soil, and learning while you work, we’re happy to have you join us! This is a family-friendly activity so little ones are welcome too! Each week will differ but common tasks include spreading mulch, weeding, preparing beds for planting and much more! Tuesday & Wednesday mornings from 8:00-11:00 am. Projects will take place in the gardens. Meet in the Rose Pavilion.
Thursday mornings from 8:00-11:00 am. Projects will take place in the Railway Garden. Meet in the Depot.
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothing
- Water bottle
- Work gloves (not required but recommended)
- Your favorite gardening tools (if you have them)
- Sunblock or hat as needed
