Sunset Classical Concert with the Michiana Brass Quintet

The Michiana Brass Quintet will provide a variety of music, from Bach to Gershwin; ragtime, showtunes, folk songs, as well as traditional brass quintet literature. This group of performer/educators, heavily influenced by the legendary Canadian Brass, aims to provide music for all to enjoy!

Sunset Hike

Join the naturalist at dusk as we tour the property. We will be looking for bats, listening for frogs and crickets, and observing other nighttime creatures.

Volunteer Work Day

Join us every second Saturday to help us with restoring our native habitat, weeding in the garden or with mulching the trails.

Wild Edibles & Ethnobotany of Northwest Indiana

Join Ezekiel Flannery, PhD, for a fun and practical workshop which will cover local Native American history while providing an introduction to some common local plants that have been used for food and medicine for many years.

Peak prairie season is upon us. Come get a guided tour and see the wildflowers blooming in the prairie.
