What’s your educational background?
I received my bachelor’s degree in communication with a concentration in broadcasting from Purdue Northwest in 2020.
Professional interests:
While attending PNW, I was a member of the Women’s Volleyball team. Every home game, we received support from not only students, faculty, and staff, but also those in our community. I wanted to return that support through community service. Serving my community has always been a passion of mine. In 2018, I received an award for completing the most community service hours in the athletic department. There is no greater feeling than seeing smiles on people's faces that you have helped.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
During the summer of 2022, I worked on season two of a television show called Power Book IV: Force. While working there, I learned all about the film industry and had the opportunity to work with legends in the industry. I loved every minute of it!
What do you love about PNW?
The atmosphere at Purdue Northwest is very welcoming and supportive. The staff, professors, students, and surrounding community are very kind and friendly. I am always greeted with a warm welcome and smile. While attending PNW, I never felt alone or unnoticed. There was always someone there to help guide me to where I needed to be.
