Railway Garden Opening Event

The Gabis Arboretum Railway Garden

Are you interested in learning the rich history of American railroads?

Join Gabis for the Railway Garden Opening Event for the first time this year! Spanning two full acres, the Railway Garden tells the amazing stories of American railroads through a large-scale display featuring G-gauge miniature trains. The gift shop in the depot will be open with brand-new merchandise.

Additional Information

  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Railway Garden trains running
  • 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Railway Garden guided tours every half hour
  • Scavenger Hunt opportunities that can be completed in the Railway Garden or the entire property
  • Variety of activities, including free trees, live animal encounters and an arts and crafts table for kids and adults
  • Local ceramics artist, Emily Castella, will also be displaying her creations through the garden
