Ariba Guided Buying Coming in December

Good morning Ariba Users,

As advertised in Business @ Purdue, Purdue’s Procurement Services, Finance and IT teams are undertaking a joint project to improve the Ariba buying experience for all campuses. An updated Ariba program called Guided Buying will be rolled out in December that will provide the following benefits:

  • A new and simplified user interface
  • A more intuitive Ariba purchasing experience with enhanced product and supplier search features
  • Product recommendations
  • An easier way to reorder products

The Procurement Services website now has a dedicated Guided Buying webpage, which includes a brief overview video of how different roles will use the program. Catalogs on the website will be updated to match the Ariba Guided Buying categories in the coming weeks.

More information will be shared as testing continues, and training opportunities will be offered later this year. Stay tuned for additional details and training dates.
