PNW named Best University in the Region

Thanks to your overwhelming support, Purdue University Northwest was named “Best University” for a third consecutive year in The Times of Northwest Indiana newspaper’s 2026 “Best of the Region” ballot!

The ballot receives hundreds of thousands of votes from community members across our area in multiple categories. The support demonstrated by our PNW students, faculty, staff, alumni and stakeholders clearly shows your strong belief in our mission to serve students and our region through innovative education, impactful research and community engagement. This recognition is made even more special as we celebrate 10 years of changing students’ lives and our tremendous impact in Northwest Indiana.
